Lyon Named Partner of the Year by CASH

Lyon Real Estate’s Downtown Sacramento Branch receives the honorary recognition as the Community Against Sexual Harm (CASH) 2023 Partner of the Year. 

“Our office has a deep connection to CASH; it was founded by our agent Rose Stinson’s daughter Cindy,” says David Falcone, Branch Manager of Lyon Real Estate, Downtown. “CASH’s work helping women and young families that are the victims of sex trafficking is so crucial to our community. The services they provide, including safety, shelter and resources save lives. Their programs to help these individuals in finding work and permanent housing make an amazing difference to those who have very few other places to turn.”  

CASH is one of 30+ local non-profits Lyon Real Estate has given a charitable grant to in 2023 through its Lyon Cares Foundation, totaling over $144,000 this year alone. Through The Sacramento Region Community Foundation has Lyon Real Estate been able to establish and manage its charitable giving fund. 

“Lyon Cares has allowed us not only to help some amazing organizations working in our communities but has also given us a greater insight into things that we can do to help,” Dave Falcone continues. “Our agents now volunteer at many of the organizations that have been both nominated or awarded grants through the Lyon Cares Foundation. We have built lasting relationships with these organizations and have been able to help them in their time of need. The Lyon Cares Foundation has become the most impactful way that we are able to give back to the communities that we live and work in.”

Each year, through the Lyon Cares Foundation and individual office-level programs, every Lyon Real Estate office, 17 in total, gives two local nonprofit organizations a $ 5,000 grant, totaling $10,000 in donations per year, per office. Since 2015, Lyon has donated $1,209,365 to organizations like CASH whose purpose and mission is to educate, enlighten and provide for our community. Our vision is to inspire and empower care and kindness in our community by offering time, talent and treasure to local organizations that make our community a better place.
