Where to Find Vintage Furniture in the Greater Sacramento Area

It’s been said that what’s old is new again. This is certainly true when it comes to furniture, with vintage pieces seeing a resurgence in popularity. Vintage furniture stores are popping up throughout the greater Sacramento, with pieces to suit every need and every taste. Whether you’re in the market for a sleek, mid-century modern sideboard, a Victorian-era dresser, or a rustic farmhouse-style hutch, you’re sure to find what you’re looking for. Following are some of our favorite places to pick up vintage furniture in the greater Sacramento area.

 

Back Corner Mid Century | Roseville

Located within the Antique Trove in Roseville, Back Corner Mid Century specializes in furniture from the 1950s and ’60s. Walnut credenzas, teak TV cabinets, and Danish-inspired lounge chairs are just a few of the things you’ll find. Bliss Marketplace | Sacramento & Rancho Cordova

With locations in both Midtown Sacramento and Rancho Cordova, this vintage store has tons of space to browse for vintage furniture. They have furniture from every decade of the 20th century in every imaginable style, from Scandinavian-inspired to shabby chic. Plus, they offer home decor and kitchen items.

Vintage cabinets, tables, chairs, even a sofa or two are what you’ll find at this rustic-chic vintage shop in Woodland. In fact, they have everything you need to design your space, especially if you’re into farmhouse style: vintage kitchen items, textiles, artwork — even items created by local makers.

 

Vintage Redeemed | Auburn

This cute little vintage shop in Auburn has all types of vintage home goods, from lamps and baskets to artwork and textiles. They also have a small supply of vintage furniture, much of it with a shabby-chic vibe. End tables, shelving, dressers and tables are a few of the items you’ll find, much of it repainted with chalk paint for that perfectly-aged look.

 

Stardust Vintage Emporium | Sacramento

Located in the La Riviera neighborhood of Sacramento, Stardust Vintage Emporium isn’t your grandma’s antique mall. Sure, they have an expansive collection of vintage furniture (much of it from the 70s and 80s), but they also put on events such as fashion shows and vintage camper shows. Their vendors sell everything from velour rocking chairs to plaid couches.

 

The Grand Collective | Roseville

Formerly Tumbleweed & Co., this sellers’ collaborative is known for their authentic vintage furniture and salvaged home items. They have everything from farmhouse-style cupboards to antique dressers, plus shabby chic patio furniture and décor.

 

Six Yellow Chairs | Shingle Springs

This quaint shop in Shingle Springs offers much more than yellow chairs! They have adorable, high-quality vintage and antique furniture, plus home décor. Display cabinets, farmhouse tables, dressers and chairs are just a few of the items you’ll find. Many items refurbished and repainted, just waiting for their new home!

 

Scout Living | Midtown

Located in Midtown Sacramento, Scout Living is known for higher-end vintage furniture, especially midcentury modern pieces by big-name designers like Eames and Saarinen. Cabinets, tables, lighting and decorative objects are also available.

 

Midway Antique Mall | Sacramento

This classic antique mall near the northern edge of Carmichael is chock full of furniture spanning the decades (and the centuries!). From the 19th century to the Atomic Age, even a few pieces from the 70s and 80s, this spot has any type of vintage piece you’re looking for. Bonus: it’s housed in a former Ethan Allen furniture gallery, meaning items are set up room-by-room, making browsing easy (and fun!).

 

Under the Arbor | Shingle Springs & Placerville

With locations in both Shingle Springs and Placerville, this outfit has plenty of items to choose from! They have thousands of pieces of rustic furniture and home items, including bookcases, dressers, cupboards, nightstands, benches and buffets. Many items have been repainted or refurbished.
