Lyon Real Estate Honored With Corporate Citizenship Award
Lyon Real Estate is about much more than helping people find the perfect home. It’s also about giving back to the community it serves. Through 2019, the Lyon Cares Foundation has given more than $612,000 in grants to local organizations that provide support to the homeless, veterans, foster youth and more.
To that end, Lyon is proud to announce it has been awarded the Corporate Citizenship Award by the Sacramento Business Journal. More specifically, Lyon Real Estate has been recognized as a Champion for Basic Needs, which honors companies that bring awareness to the needs of communities and supports the many nonprofits that facilitate aid specifically pertaining to hunger, housing and homelessness.
“For nearly 75 years now, Lyon agents and employees have been helping to feed those that are hungry, helping to shelter those that don’t have a place to stay and also to help neglected and abused women, children and even men throughout our community,” said Lyon Real Estate President Pat Shea, who accepted the award on behalf of agents and employees. “We’re thrilled to be a part of this philanthropy, care and giving in our community.”
