Sacramento Area Shops Participating in Small Business Saturday | Interactive Map

Forget the cookie-cutter big-box stores this holiday season and show some love to the independent businesses that make our community great! Avoid the headaches of Black Friday and instead get your shopping done on Small Business Saturday  — held this year on Saturday, Nov. 30. From the quirky to the quaint, there are plenty of shops in the greater Sacramento area where you can find one-of-a-kind gifts.

There are a few freebies to take advantage of on Small Business Saturday as well. Sacramento Regional Transit will be offering free rides all day on Saturday, Nov. 30. There will also be a free shopping shuttle (with stops every 20 minutes) that takes shoppers throughout midtown, downtown and Old Sacramento. If you plan on driving, you can park for free in metered zones throughout the downtown and midtown areas.

Brown House on H | East Sacramento

For over three decades, the women of Sacramento have depending on Brown House on H for their shopping needs. While it has moved to several different locations, Brown House on H’s dedication to cutting-edge fashion has remained the same.

Face in a Book | El Dorado Hills

Face in a Book is a gathering place for lovers of literature and readers of all ages. Not only can you pick up books in every genre, you can also take home gifts, greeting cards and stationery items. On Small Business Saturday, they’ll be celebrating with treats and giveaways. Plus, mystery author James L’Etoile will be on hand between noon and 2 p.m. 

Getta Clue Store | Downtown

Ginger Elizabeth Chocolates | Midtown
