Free Outdoor Yoga Classes to Join This Summer in the Sacramento Area

The only thing better than free yoga is free outdoor yoga. These nine classes provide just that! There’s something extra relaxing and rejuvenating about practicing yoga in the midst of nature with trees overhead, grass under your feet, and rays of sunshine on your skin. And better yet, each of these classes is designed to accommodate all skill levels, from beginner to advanced.

Grab your yoga mat and some water, put on comfortable clothes that allow for easy movement, and head to one of these beautiful parks in and around Sacramento for a fun and free yoga experience.

First things first, get acquainted with Yoga in the Park, a series of outdoor yoga classes hosted by Yoga Moves Us. They offer free vinyasa yoga classes all over the Greater Sacramento Area at a variety of parks throughout the week. Following their Facebook page is the easiest way to stay up-to-date on the latest happenings, including teachers, special events and schedule changes.

If you’re looking for an indoor yoga studio offering classes all year long, check out some of our favorite yoga studios in the Sacramento area. Or perhaps you’re looking for other ways to exercise outdoors! There are so many group workouts offered in the Sacramento area, whether you like to run, cycle or hike.
