It’s Time to Dine Downtown

You may not have needed a reason to dine in downtown Sac. But in case you did, or were looking for a new one, how about the fact that there are bound to be a few eateries you’ve yet to visit? How about $31 for a delectable three-course meal? How about charity and helping out a little organization called the Food Literacy Center, which aims to create a healthy, sustainable tomorrow through food education?

This month’s Dine Downtown Restaurant Week, held January 15 -24, leaves few excuses not to get in on the culinary action. The 26 participating restaurants include Biba, Blackbird, Blue Prynt, Café Plan B, Cafeteria 15 L, Capital Dime, Chops Steak and Seafood Bar, Dawson’s at the Hyatt, Downtown & Vine, Ella Dining Room & Bar, Esquire Grill, Fat City, Firehouse Restaurant, Foundation Restaurant & Bar, Frank Fats, Grange, Hock Farm Craft & Provisions, Hook & Ladder Manufacturing Company, Il Fornaio, Mayahuel, The Melting Pot, Pilothouse at the Delta King, The Porch, Red Rabbit Kitchen & Bar, Rio City Café, and Ten22.
